Phillip Lim's collection was a sorbet of colours. There were blacks but the standout looks were those pale colours layered over each other. The trousers were in silk and had an athletic feel to them with the vents that opened over the shoe. The culottes were cut like basketball shorts with a subtle mesh at the inner thighs. Tops and dresses had these panels that flapped in the wind as the models walked. I especially liked the razor back cut on I guess what you would call a blazer tank.
Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez showed and exceptional collection for their line Proenza Schouler. The short suits buttoned all the way up to the neck paired with wooden platforms, could be used as separates and look just as good. The A-line skirts in prints or that bright blue croc one on Liya moved so well coming down the runway. The dresses with the Hawaiian prints, my favorite was the one on Karolina with that sort of sweet heart neck line, over a long sleeve top.
