New York Fashion Week S/S 2012. Day 4.

Diane von Furstenberg opened her collection with a slew of all white looks, a lace dress, pantsuits, and a kimono dress with a utility belt. A look that came up a couple times throughout the collection in different colours. Furstenberg known for her printed wrap dresses, focused on florals on everything from sweatshirts to jumpsuits. The prints were breathtaking, but it was her mild clour blocking on the day suits with the flats that were my favorite. The menswear inspired looks, in tailored jackets and dress shirts paired with bermuda shorts and flat oxfords is for the girl who isn't all about the flower.

Zac Posen focused on cut and fit for his collection. Corsets were evident in every dress, the waist was the star of this collection. Long jackets with pencil skirts, were stand outs with slight details, like high armholes. There were references to old Hollywood in a fresh twist. And the young hollywood set such as ScarJo could be seen in one of those party frocks.

Tracy Reese's party dresses were in full swing for her spring collection. My favorite, the knee length blue floral mixed with the stripes, i could see with a denim jacket and combats and also with spring sandals, it was for any girl's personality. The blue leather jacket was gorgeous, and the same coloured shorts in leather with the strap in the front with the black and white top was a great look. The jackets were practical, and so was everything in the collection. It was a superb collection of great wearable separates.-your Dealer.
