Mexico City Style.

For the past couple of weeks I have been on the west coast; Los Angeles and Mexico. The style on the streets of Mexico City was impressive. I was shocked to see so many natural blondes. But Mexico City seemed to be a very diversified city. There were men and women of all shapes and sizes. Their style ranged from bold and brave to demure and eloquent. There were girls in silk, floral printed dresses accessorized with an  indian headdress or paired with colorful Aztec jewelry. On the more reserved side girls paired bright colored blazers with hot shorts and the season's it bag. I was so inspired, my last night I decided to pair the two aesthetics together and disturb Mexico City with leopard  shorts, sheer button down, a turban with feathers in it and tons of vintage bangles.
The guys were very rocker or surf inspired. Many of them wearing board shorts around the city with knit hats and boat shoes.  And the occasional rocker tee with animal print or skin tight jeans, and boots. There was a lot of black, which pleased my heart because there's nothing chicer than black. The gays of the city were more experimental. Mixing womenswear and menswear together, the womenswear being the more standout pieces of the look.

Shopping in Mexico City made me excited, everything seemed ridiculously cheap. I found perfect black harem pants for 10 pesos, I'm not even going to tell you how much dollars that is because it's less than a dollar.Score. Tons of black and bright colored tanks for under 20 pesos. A plus for me, I live in tanks all year round. The downside of shopping in Mexico City seems to be sizing. I was a bit confused, thinking maybe they have a different sizing system or something. Everything fit smaller than I thought it would/should. I kept having to go a size up, which triggered me to stop eating soft tacos and instilled a fear of looking in the mirror and seeing a larger image staring back at me. Gasps. Maybe that explains the low prices, little use of fabric? But after it was all over my first trip to Mexico City surpassed my expectations.-your Dealer.
