Guess who's in Rodarte again?

Elle Fanning is  in Rodarte for their short film collaboration with director Todd Cole The curve of forgotten things, which premiered on NOWNESS today. It showcases the design duo's 1970's northern California inspired collection. The "Somewhere" breakout star dances through empty rooms and walls as as her outfits change from room to room.The film's misty mood references movies of that era, as the Geargia based indie band Deerhunter provide an orchestral dreamy soundtrack. As for the title Cole explains:“It's the title of a Richard Brautigan poem. The poem and the film are about forgotten things—circles and the curve of time.” The film is a pickup from last spring's Intergalactic Project that Cole shot with Rodarte and comes at a time where the designers amazing costume contributions to Darren Aronofky's  Black Swan  will be part of their upcoming solo exhibit at MoCa.The 12 yr old Rodarte muse is already eyeing the mint green and brown blouse ensemble.
