End of New York Fashion Week wrap up.

So it seems as though New York fashion week left the best for last ending last night. With both of Marc's lines opening our eyes with color. Naeem Khan's luxurious embroidery, both of De La Renta's RTW and Resort lines were polished to perfection as Jeremy Scoot bought a smile to my face and The Blonds knocked my socks off I wanted every piece of the collection.

Leave it to Marc to throw away all the ideas I had about NY fashion week up to this point of boring khakis everywhere. With his 70's romanticism and flash of color and glitz nostalgia of Bianca Jagger. There was big hair and even bigger hats and flower hair pins and thrown out the window was the idea of emphasis on lips and leave eyes bare, there were dark red lips and dark eyes. Opening with that printed big cut coat to a satin orange suit but with hot pants. Those purple wide leg pants with the gigantic purple hat and a gold lame shorts suit with the black detail. The khaki sequined power suit and the the purple jumper with the purple leather flower belt exceptional. As well as great flowing silk evening dresses, some sheer and some with hip high slits, all in all sexy the same. Thanks Marc for bringing the week back to life.
With his Marc line he didn't disappoint either, the colors, prints, the hot guys and stripes oh Marc. There were those fun bright colors right off the back opening the show with that striped dress. The grey off the shoulder jumper has my name written all over it, adored the hemlines and the volume on the trousers. There were cute hats, hints of neon and the big layered acrylic bangles. One of my favorite looks was that satin shorts look with the almost doily like silk blouse. It was playful and fun but yet still stylish for every downtown girl that likes to look like they showered.
With customers such as the queen of Jordan, Naeem makes sure he takes embroidery to a whole other level. He opened the show with that Yellow and black detailed number, flollowed by this black and white silk caftan that I need for next summer's vacation. Every look had a detail of lace or bead work or even both. Altho it may sound like a a lot maybe even on colors such as bumble bee yellow, blues, oranges and kelly green, it wasn't every piece looked expensive. There was this one look that stood out for me this black floor length full skirt paired with this white sequined detail and paired with a white tank that was embellished with gorgeousness to this point I still don't know what was used on it, if it were pearls or stones. Naeem gave us a collection of exquisite gowns, caftans, day and cocktail dresses.Bravo.
The Kansas bred Jeremy Scott sent out boudoir girls and hot guys in leather chaps. The sheer tanks with the catch phrases from shopping bags were quirky and I want every single one of them, and to just pair them with mens tightie whities perfect little trashy twist. There were sequined dresses replicated of ticket stubs. The lovely leather backpack that was in the shape of a biker jacket and the platform ankle boots that were split toed, who thinks of shit like that? Then not playing the pun of trash but there were trash bag inspired looks with drawstrings and all.Should we also get into the bikini and dress made out of can soda tops? they were out of the box but yet still wearable. One of my favorite looks was the mens biker jacket with the human bone done with glitter similar to the dress above. But I think my absolute must have is the cross sunglasses with the bathing suit that had the sheer cut out cross, it would look great with a pair of denim cutoffs and that biker jacket. Then he has the nerve to end the show with a stray jacket wedding dress I literally died. The end.

The Blonds ended fashion week last night with a bang the milk studios were filled with glamour and that was just in the audience. As the show opened with cabaret dancers and then the first look with Phillipe Blond in a huge over coat only to reveal a satin pencil leg tux which when he turned around was all nude sheer and glitterings. There was a sequined dress that was one sleeve of a blazer, and a mens blazer with sequined lapels over a black sheer mini dress that had drop sequins on the bottom. Mens inspired but very feminine such as a two piece tux with blue detailing or the their take on a short satin suit with a top hat head band. The white pearl corset showed creativity and detail like none other and the OMG,LOL and WTF headbands with the black coats that were lined in colored sequins to match the bathing suits, there was this look of a black dress with silver at the bust paired with a turban and as the model walked just looked so slinky and sexy. The pink Joan Crawford silk robe over the green sequins made my day just as much as every other look. There were shoulder pads and one arm looks but was done in such a chic, glamourous modern way. Adored every shoe from the nude lucite to the amazing spiked gold ones. Then the end as Phillipe and David both exiting at the end as the perfect Barbie and Ken  this collection had me in awe after what everyone else had been showing this past week. Reminding me that there is still art in fashion with innovation and imagination left in New York-your Dealer
